Event Coordinator Intern (Marketing & Operations) – Swiggle

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Office-Based)
Type: Part-Time Internship
Compensation: $13/hour (Internship) + optional $30/hour (Event Shifts)

Position Overview

Swiggle is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Event Coordinator Intern to support the planning and coordination of marketing activations across South Florida.

This is an office-based internship focused on event logistics, coordination, and operations. You’ll gain hands-on experience working behind the scenes of real brand activations while developing skills in marketing, project management, and event execution.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and organizing brand activations and sampling events
  • Coordinate event logistics, schedules, and staffing assignments
  • Communicate with sampling teams, brand partners, and venues
  • Prepare and track event materials, inventory, and requirements
  • Manage event scheduling and updates through internal tools (e.g., Connecteam)
  • Organize post-event reports, including photos, performance data, and feedback
  • Support day-to-day operational and coordination tasks

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Interest in marketing, events, or business operations
  • Based in South Florida and able to commute to Fort Lauderdale

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in events, hospitality, or marketing
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Sheets, Slack, or project management platforms

Compensation & Growth Opportunity
