About the Opportunity
MVP Marketing Exchange is seeking ambitious, people-friendly, action-oriented interns to help grow our platform by connecting with businesses, professionals, and community members.
MVP Marketing Exchange is a business growth and referral platform designed to help businesses attract customers, reward referrals, and create more value for the people and communities they serve. We are building something bigger than a typical marketing campaign — we are building an ecosystem.
This internship is for someone who is not afraid to talk to people, follow up, make calls, walk into businesses, build relationships, and help spread the word. If you are entrepreneurial, motivated, and want real-world experience instead of just theory, this may be a strong fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Sales & Growth Intern, you will help us expand awareness and adoption of the MVP Marketing Exchange by:
- Reaching out to local businesses, professionals, nonprofits, and community contacts
- Introducing people to the MVP Marketing Exchange and explaining the value in simple terms
- Helping identify potential business partners, early adopters, and referral opportunities
- Making phone calls, sending messages, following up, and building relationships
- Visiting businesses or networking in person when appropriate
- Using your personal network, campus network, community network, or social platforms to create interest
- Helping schedule appointments, demos, or follow-up conversations
- Tracking outreach activity and results
- Sharing ideas to help improve messaging, promotions, and growth strategies
- Supporting launch efforts for different groups, communities, or campuses when needed

Training & Support
Interns will go through a 2–3 day onboarding and training process before beginning outreach. Training will cover:
- What MVP Marketing Exchange is
- How the platform creates value for businesses and users
- Who to target and how to start conversations
- Outreach scripts and talking points
- How to follow up effectively
- How performance and compensation work
- Expectations, reporting, and growth opportunities
Multiple training/start dates may be offered depending on applicant volume and fit.
Compensation
Compensation includes performance-based incentives, and may include bonuses or additional earnings based on results and participation. Strong interns may also have the opportunity to grow into larger roles as the platform expands.
