Our platform, Retail ORBIT, delivers merchandise planning intelligence to independent retailers — and our network of certified Affiliates delivers it with a personal, high-touch advisory layer. We serve hundreds of independent retailers across the U.S., helping them make smarter inventory decisions with data they couldn't access on their own.
About the Role
You'll support our sales team in growing M1's client base and expanding our Affiliate network. This is a hands-on B2B sales role inside a SaaS and consulting business — you'll work real prospects, support real pipeline, and learn what it takes to sell a high-touch advisory platform to independent retail business owners.
What You'll Do
- Research and identify prospective independent retail clients and potential Affiliates using LinkedIn, industry directories, and trade associations
- Support HubSpot CRM hygiene — logging contacts, updating deal stages, and flagging stale pipeline activity
- Draft outreach emails, follow-up sequences, and sales enablement materials
- Help prepare proposals, pricing summaries, and capability decks for prospect conversations
- Sit in on sales calls and Affiliate onboarding meetings — take notes, summarize outcomes, and surface follow-up actions
- Coordinate logistics for prospect demos of Retail ORBIT
- Assist with tracking and reporting on sales metrics: leads, conversions, and pipeline velocity
What We're Looking For
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Strong written communication — can write a crisp, warm outreach email
- Organized and reliable with good follow-through
- Curious about retail, small business, and data-driven decision making
- Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot a plus
- Comfortable in a remote, async-first environment
