Business Systems Analyst (part-time)

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst to join our team on a part-time basis. The Business Analyst will support a development team in executing a migration of part manufacturing planning from legacy systems. The analyst will organize, track, and prioritize parts by working with manufacturing. The role will also provide helpdesk support when needed.

Additionally, the Business Systems Analyst will:

  • Execute migration program, triage errors, and track progress of overall migration.
  • Report on status, ensuring the project stays on schedule.
  • Support Engineering on prioritizing important part migrations.
  • Support international migration specialists with any issues regarding access or the migration tool.
  • Analyze current migration processes and identify gaps, dependencies, and required changes.
  • Validate migrated plans
  • Partner with engineering to clarify requirements and troubleshoot issues during development.
  • Support change management including training materials, communications, and user onboarding.
  • Track, triage, and assign helpdesk tickets.
  • Identify patterns in support requests and recommend improvements.
  • Provide clear communication to users regarding issue status and resolution.

 

Qualifications 

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program with a major in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other closely related field.
  • Experience with data migrations or ETL tools is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with software development workflows, agile tools, or ticketing systems is preferred.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure to Siemens Teamcenter or other PLM software is preferred
  • This is a part-time position that requires an onsite presence 10 – 20 hrs/week.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
