About HIBO Healthy Energy

HIBO Healthy Energy is an Athens, GA-based startup founded by University of Georgia graduates Phoebe and Clayton Oetting.

Our Mission: Everyone is being lied to by energy drink companies. People want healthy, natural, nutritious ingredients, delicious energy, no crash, and great functional benefits—but no current option delivers this. Every other energy drink uses industrial artificial ingredients and relies on creative marketing to mislead consumers.

Our core belief is that by creating energy drinks that are genuinely healthy and delicious, we empower people to become healthier through one simple, daily choice.

Our Innovation: We have innovated a solution by creating an energy drink that tastes and functions better because it's only made with superfoods and prebiotics. Our goal is to create a brand that resonates with people who know that good energy and full living start with eating natural, nutritious, and delicious foods.

We are seeking a high-energy individual to become the voice and spirit of HIBO.

Marketing Experience

Experience growing social media accounts across multiple platforms through engagement, viral content, storytelling, event marketing, PR, and email marketing.

Humble & Eager to Learn

Desires to learn more about growing brands and marketing.

Health-Oriented

Passionate about health and fitness.

Influencer Savvy

Has worked with influencers before and is comfortable growing influencer partnerships for the brand.

Storyteller

Good at storytelling, both practically and strategically.

Availability

Has availability to work full time, driving to events and content shoots in Athens and Atlanta.

Technical Skills

• Savvy computer user willing to embrace Artificial Intelligence tools to innovate in our media platform. (Job Goals!)
• Strong skills as a content creator - videography, editorial and graphics
• Passion for and deep knowledge of short-form storytelling
• Strong understanding of SEO, GEO and media distribution and amplification techniques

Lives in Athens or nearby.

Roles and Responsibilities

As our Marketing Specialist, you will be crucial to HIBO's growth, leading all key marketing initiatives:

• Social Media Management: Managing, creating content for, engaging with, storytelling, and growing all social media accounts (Instagram, FB, TikTok, LinkedIn).
• Event Marketing: Setting up key events across the Athens and Atlanta area, and coordinating an event team to prioritize getting people to try HIBO and capturing content.
• Content Creation & Collaboration: Working directly with the Founder, CEO, and other team members to storytell through multiple platforms.
• Influencer Relations: Sending out influencer packages to PR and social media partnerships and building a robust influencer network.
• Email Marketing: Managing and executing email marketing through Klaviyo.
• Retail Support: Working with the sales team to grow awareness around key retail goals and helping execute displays and promotional materials in retail.
• Merchandise & Promotional Materials: Designing, ordering, and distributing merchandise and trade promo materials to marketing and distributing partners.
• All-Hands-On-Deck: Lending a hand where needed in multiple parts of the business. You will be gaining experience in starting and growing a company.

Goals

Your success will be measured by key contributions to our brand growth:

• Growing HIBO through compelling storytelling (Content Transformation).
• Growing HIBO awareness throughout Georgia. (Engagement Transformation).
• Increasing brick and mortar store and e-commerce sales velocity through marketing efforts.
• Building influencer and PR partnerships that get our mission and story out there (Getting other people talking about HIBO).

Compensation and Timing

We are actively looking for someone to start in this role.

Compensation

Full time salary - $50,000-$60,000 depending on experience
