Security Engineering Lead

Pegatron Technology Services Inc. is seeking candidate to spearhead our security engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will design, implement, and oversee comprehensive security strategies to protect our network infrastructure, critical systems, and data assets. • Lead the planning, design, and implementation of robust security architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), encryption protocols, and secure access controls. • Oversee the deployment, management, and optimization of security tools and technologies, endpoint protection platforms, and cloud security solutions. • Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend enhancements to the organization's IT infrastructure. • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring alignment with frameworks like ISO 27001. • Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities, lead incident response efforts, and coordinate forensic investigations during security breaches. • Mentor and train security engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and proactive threat management. • Collaborate with IT, engineering, and compliance teams to integrate security into software development lifecycle processes and DevSecOps pipelines. • Stay abreast of evolving cyber threats, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership. • Automate security monitoring and response processes to improve efficiency and scalability. • Prepare and present security reports, metrics, and findings to stakeholders, including executive management.
