Project Manager

Job Title:  Project Manager

 

SUMMARY 

The project manager role is to track, schedule and manage 12 to 15 building projects and to provide contract review support and design review support to other departments. This position will work closely with all departments of the company as well with our install partners and will be the face of Panel Built to the customers. Some travel will be required to better accommodate our customers.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Accurately track project cost, schedule and design.
  2. Develop and keep UpToDate financial tracking of projects.
  3. Be able to review contracts and take essential information out to be used for bidding, designing, and project execution.
  4. Maintain communication between project stakeholders (internal departments, subcontractors and customers) throughout the job process.
  5. Provide support to Engineering with design/fabrication questions by being able to research and provide options. Typically, this includes research on different specifications and building codes
  6. Travels for pre-construction visits and post construction visits to work with the customers and be a representative of Panel Built.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

  4.  Demonstrate proficiency in both oral and written communication; read and interpret construction drawings
  5. Maintain effective, readily accessible files and records of office reports.
  6. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and outside vendors/customers.

 

           EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, short correspondence and memos in the English language. 

 

 

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, CAD, NetSuite, Outlook, Spreadsheets, 

Graphs, Outlook, Construction Management Software (Procore and Autodesk preferred)

 

REASONING ABILITY 

  1. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out complex instructions.
  2. Ability to discern when other parties need to be involved in validating priorities.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

 Valid Drivers License, OSHA Certified preferred
