Aloha is a US-based fintech building the operating layer for travel and hospitality across the Americas. Aloha Pay is the payment infrastructure for travel companies across the Americas — handling collections and supplier payouts in any direction, across any corridor. Aloha Pro is an agentic property management platform powered by AI. Two products, one mission: remove the friction holding the industry back.

The role
We're looking for a Junior Full Stack Engineer who thinks in systems, not just syntax. At Aloha, we build with AI agents at the core — you won't be writing every line of code by hand. You'll orchestrate AI coding agents, review and validate their output, catch what they miss, and ship features that actually work in production.

You'll work directly with our Head of Engineering and collaborate closely with our Chief Product Officer to translate product requirements into real, working software. A big part of your focus will be building and maintaining integrations with US payment rails and third-party financial APIs — the plumbing that keeps Aloha Pay running.

If you're the type who figures things out, moves fast, and isn't precious about how the code gets written — just that it works — this is your role.

What you'll do
• Orchestrate AI coding agents to generate, refactor, and test code — you direct the agents, review their output, and own the result
• Conduct thorough code reviews — yours and the agents' — before anything touches production
• Build and maintain integrations with US payment rails and financial infrastructure partners
• Collaborate with the Chief Product Officer to scope features, flag technical constraints, and ship fast
• Work under the direction of our Head of Engineering on architecture decisions and code standards
• Debug production issues, write tests, and keep our systems reliable as we scale
• Wear multiple hats — in a startup, the roadmap changes and so does your day

What we're looking for
• Solid fundamentals in full stack development — comfortable across frontend and backend
• Familiar with modern JS frameworks (React, Next.js) and server-side languages (Node.js, Python, or similar)
• Not afraid of AI tools — you've used Cursor, Copilot, Claude, or similar and you know how to get the most out of them
• Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations — payment APIs a strong plus
• Able to read, critique, and improve code you didn't write — whether it came from a human or an agent
• Comfortable with ambiguity — startups don't come with perfect specs
• Strong communicator — you can explain a technical decision to a non-technical product owner
• Recent grad or early-career welcome — we care about how you think, not how many years you've clocked
