Supply Chain Intern
Luminii is a specification-grade LED lighting manufacturer delivering innovative products and simple solutions. We are dedicated to our clients’ success from specification through installation. As a fast-growing and dynamic company, we are looking for motivated individuals to help shape our next chapter of growth.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Supply Chain Intern to support our procurement and inventory teams as we acquire new companies. The internship will be split into two main phases. The first focus will be on improving the data integrity of stock components and using the existing purchase requisition system. During this time the work will build a practical foundation, so you are better suited to suggest improvements later. The second half will shift to a focus on process improvement. Using the info gathered from the first portion you will work with the purchasing manager and director of supply chain to build out a tool that can review and properly categorize inventory in mass, and a system that can improve the purchase requisition process via Asana.
Throughout this process you will gain experience working cross-functionally with purchasing, operations, warehouse, and quality teams while developing analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Learn the current purchase requisition process and then work with the purchasing manager and director of supply chain to create a new workflow and modernize the system from an excel file that is emailed in, to an asana queue utilizing forms and automation rules. We will role this out as the primary method new acquisitions can request approval for day to day purchases.
