HR Intern

HR Intern


Position Summary:

The HR Intern provides quality administrative support to the HR Team.

 

Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities:

  • Become familiar with company benefits with goal of conducting hourly benefit meetings
  • Participate in employee related conversations: ADA, FMLA, Employee Investigations, Exit Meetings
  • Assist with summer project for updating job descriptions company-wide
  • Assist with creation of employee training programs/manuals and evaluating effectiveness 
  • Administration of 30/60/90 new hire review process
  • Assist with quarterly management trainings
  • Assist with annual 401k audit
  • Assist with creation of Safety Archive for company-wide safety engagement and compliance tracking
  • Participate in organizing company events and employee engagement efforts
  • Assist with new hire orientation/onboarding
  • Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates as needed
  • Assist with maintaining electronic personnel files
  • Assist with creating company communications
  • Track progress, priorities, and deadlines of various projects
  • Other tasks as assigned

 

Qualification Requirements:

  • Pursuing Associates or Bachelor’s in Business related field, with focus in HR.
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Good communication skills

 

Working Conditions/Environment:

Works primarily in an office environment.  The employee may periodically be exposed to non-ambient temperatures, odors or dust. All required PPE must be worn at all times while in the warehouse environment in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
