Marketing Sales Assistant

We're a growing team in Indianapolis, IN looking for a motivated, people-first Marketing & Sales Assistant to help us drive pipeline and build brand awareness in a market that's moving fast. If you love connecting with people, crafting compelling messages, and seeing the direct impact of your work — this role is for you.

You won't be fetching coffee or sitting on the sidelines. From week one, you'll be contributing to campaigns, supporting sales outreach, and helping shape how we show up in the market.

What you'll do:

• Support the sales team with outreach, lead tracking, and CRM data management
• Help develop and schedule content across email, social media, and digital channels
• Research market trends, competitors, and new audience segments
• Assist with the creation of sales decks, one-pagers, and marketing collateral
• Coordinate promotional campaigns and track performance metrics
• Assist at local networking events, trade shows, and client meetings in the Indianapolis area
• Collaborate closely with both the marketing and sales teams on shared goals
What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
• Strong written communication skills — you can write a crisp email and a compelling caption
• Comfortable working across tools like Google Workspace, Canva, HubSpot, or similar platforms
• A data-curious mindset — you like knowing what's working and why
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball
• Genuine interest in both marketing and sales — this role bridges both worlds
What you'll get:

• A role with real scope — you'll touch marketing and sales, not just one lane
• Clear path to a Marketing Coordinator or Sales Associate role within 4–6 months
• Commission bonus structure tied to sales support outcomes
• A collaborative team that invests in your growth, not just your output
How to apply:

Apply through Handshake and include a brief note (3–5 sentences) about a brand, campaign, or sales approach that impressed you recently — and why. We want to know how you think, not just what's on your resume.
