Family Educator

Child Start is seeking a passionate and experienced Family Educator to join our team. As a Family Educator, you will be responsible for conducting home visits, where you will support families in raising healthy, happy, and successful children. You will work closely with parents and caregivers of children ages 0-3 to provide educational opportunities and guidance for parents, as well as conduct assessments to identify where our help is needed most. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development, family dynamics, and best practices in education and social services. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Family Development or Early Childhood field from four-year College or university or related field with nine hours of Early Childhood coursework.
• Requires less than twelve months of experience with infants or toddlers.
• Office and computer knowledge required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills preferred and ability to respond effectively in human service situations preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
