Job Summary
The Parent-Child Relationships and Well-Being Lab is seeking an hourly research assistant (RA) to support ongoing studies focused on parenting, infant and child development, and family well-being. The RA will assist with coding parenting behaviors from video-recorded interactions and contribute to other research activities as needed.
Essential Job Duties
- Code parenting and child behaviors from video recordings using established coding systems.
- Assist with data management, organization, and quality control procedures.
- Support general research activities as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and reliability training.
Anticipated Weekly Hours
10 - 20 hours per week
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Human Development, Public Health, Psychology or a related field
- Prior experience working on human subjects research
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years of research experience with young children and families
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
