R2026103691 HDFS - Research Assistant

Job Summary

The Parent-Child Relationships and Well-Being Lab is seeking an hourly research assistant (RA) to support ongoing studies focused on parenting, infant and child development, and family well-being. The RA will assist with coding parenting behaviors from video-recorded interactions and contribute to other research activities as needed.

 

Essential Job Duties

  • Code parenting and child behaviors from video recordings using established coding systems.
  • Assist with data management, organization, and quality control procedures.
  • Support general research activities as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and reliability training.

 

Anticipated Weekly Hours

10 - 20 hours per week

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Human Development, Public Health, Psychology or a related field
  • Prior experience working on human subjects research

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of research experience with young children and families
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
