Multimedia Content Creator

The UI REACH program is looking to hire a multimedia content creator to assist with capturing and creating written and visual content to tell the story of our program. This includes social media content, newsletter writing, website management, and marketing materials.

UI REACH is a comprehensive transition program for college-age students with intellectual, cognitive, and learning disabilities. Responsibilities

· Capture and create content for UI REACH social media accounts

· Write and design content for semesterly newsletters

· Assist with editing written and visual content on the UI REACH website

· Design graphic materials like flyers and other promotional materials

Required Qualifications

· Strong writing skills with the ability to craft clear and engaging narratives

· Experience crafting stories through visual, written, or multimedia formats (e.g., photography, graphic design, scriptwriting, video, or news content)

· A strong work ethic

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Must be currently enrolled as a student at the University of Iowa

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience capturing high-quality video and photography

· Experience using design or media‑creation tools—either drag‑and‑drop (e.g., Canva) or advanced applications (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere)

· Experience writing or designing content for digital publications, marketing materials, or instructional materials

· Knowledge or experience working with individuals with intellectual, cognitive, and learning disabilities.
