Mechanical Engineering Intern

OxEon Energy is hiring summer interns to work with the Systems Engineering Team on engineering and documentation for first of a kind system builds. OxEon provides technical solutions for the toughest problems facing us both on Earth and far beyond. The Mechanical Engineering Intern will have the following Roles and Responsibilities: 

Provide mechanical engineering support for both new product development activities as well as existing product support. 

Generate and/or process engineering documentation such as reference manuals, work instructions and others 

Work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models, drawings, and part documentation. 

Assist engineers and technicians in prototyping new systems.                                

Qualifications and Education Requirements:   

Undergraduate Junior or Senior working towards a Mechanical Engineering Degree, or a student with experience in drafting from a technical college program. 

Candidates will be expected to have general Mechanical engineering knowledge including the use of CAD, standard engineering tools, general computer applications competencies (word processing, spreadsheet, internet data search, software programming, etc.), and strong oral and written communication skills.
