Bay Builders & Remodeling is a San Jose–based general contractor specializing in high-end residential projects, including full remodels, additions, ADUs, and custom homes. We provide full design-build services from planning and permitting through construction.

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated, entry-level team member to join our office. This role combines architectural drafting, design support, and social media management. You will work closely with our design and permitting team while also helping grow our online presence.

Responsibilities:

Architectural / Design (Primary):

• Assist with drafting basic architectural plans (kitchen, bathroom, interior remodeling)
• Work with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software
• Support the permitting team in preparing plans for city approval
• Assist with client design selections and layout planning
• Create 3D renderings for design presentations

Social Media (Secondary):

• Visit job sites to capture photos and videos
• Guide team members on capturing quality content
• Manage and post content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
• Help grow and maintain the company’s online presence

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of architectural drafting software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)
• Interest in residential construction, design, and permitting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Creative mindset for social media content
• Ability to work in-office in San Jose
• Ability to visit and travel to job sites throughout the Bay Area

Compensation:

Starting at $30/hour (based on experience)
