AI Operations Specialist Intern

What is the role and what you will be doing:

We are hiring our first, dedicated AI Operations Specialist Intern to lead this roll-out. The person will work directly with the CEO and executive team.  You will need to identify manual, repetitive or data-heavy workflows across our business and build AI-powered solutions to make them faster, more cost effective, and more accurate.  You will have a direct line to leadership and autonomy to drive real change from day one.

We have broken down our AI implementation plan into four phases: 

  • (i) Visualizing Analytics:  We need to make our business processes and performance legible to the executive team and our AI systems.
  • (ii) Streamline Administrative / Back Office Operations:  Improve and automate portions of our back end workflow including file distribution, invoicing, billing, reconciliation, and compliance.
  • (iii) Investigator UI & System Integration:  Integrate multiple software so our 30-person frontend Investigation team can improve performance.
  • (iv)  Call Automation:  To improve efficiency for our frontend Investigations team.

What you bring:

  • Pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Science, or related field.
  • A current 3rd year undergraduate who will be graduating between December 2026 - August 2027.
  • Demonstrate experience building AI-powered workflow or automations (be prepared to show us your GitHub, portfolio, or similar projects.)
  • Proficiency in at least two of:  Python, JavaScript, SQL, REST APIs
  • Must be located in Austin, TX as this role does not provide relocation.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with no-code/low code automation platforms
  • Familiarity with financial services, lending
  • A track record of building things on your own
