Jr Project Manager 


About the Role

LeanLift Solutions is seeking a motivated, organized, and professional Junior Project Manager to support infrastructure and construction-related projects. This role is ideal for a degreed individual who is eager to learn, develop project management skills, and grow within a fast-paced field environment.

The successful candidate will assist with project coordination, communication, documentation, and daily project activities while working closely with senior project leaders and project teams.

We are willing to train the right candidate.

This position requires strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently while learning new responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project coordination and daily project activities
  • Assist with tracking project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, and records
  • Communicate project updates to team members and stakeholders
  • Participate in project meetings and document action items
  • Assist with coordination of installing contractors and field teams
  • Support communication with commissioning teams and project partners
  • Work with internal teams, including operations and procurement
  • Help coordinate materials, equipment deliveries, and site activities
  • Monitor project progress and report issues to senior project leadership
  • Support project closeout and documentation activities
  • Represent LeanLift professionally on job sites

Work Environment

  • Field-based position
  • In-person site presence required
  • Hands-on learning environment
  • Mentorship from senior project staff

Travel Requirement Approximately 75%–85% travel This may include:

  • Local travel
  • Regional travel

Occasional extended project assignments

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree in:

  • Engineering
  • Construction Management
  • Business Administration
  • Project Management
  • Operations

Or a related field

Experience
No prior project management experience required. We are seeking candidates who are:

  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision

Employment Type

This position may be structured as:

  • Full-time employee (W-2) OR
  • Independent contractor (1099)
  • Final classification will be determined based on project and business needs.
