Product Manager - Commercial Lines

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assists in developing new products and product enhancements.
  • Analyzes products for efficiencies, appropriateness, serviceability, cost containment, and statute conformity.
  • Analyzes products and ensures adequate pricing.
  • Assists with statistical research, data manipulation, project modeling and report generation.
  • Assists with quality control, user access, user understanding, and usefulness of department reports.

Knowledge and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience with property and casualty insurance knowledge. Other desired coursework may include mathematics, statistics, computing, finance, or other analytical topics.
  • 3 years’ experience in the insurance industry.
  • Familiar with insurance products and regulations.
  • Ability making sounds decisions and substantiate these decisions.
  • Effective utilization of computer systems including company and industry related software for essential job functions
  • Continuing effort and desire to increase knowledge through applicable training, designations, and/or certificate programs.
