Position Description
The PEF Teacher Residency prepares aspiring educators through a year-long, mentored residency in high-needs schools. Residents work alongside experienced teachers while completing coursework toward Tennessee teacher licensure.
We are currently seeking residents interested in becoming Exceptional Education (Special Education) teachers through a fully funded licensure pathway.
Residents receive intensive coaching, hands-on classroom experience, and structured professional development designed to accelerate their growth as educators and future school leaders. After the residency year, starting salary is $50,000 or more.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (any field)
