Heavy Equipment Mechanic

The Role

We are looking for a "hands-on" expert who thrives on solving mechanical puzzles. This isn't just about routine maintenance; it’s about taking ownership of a diverse fleet. You will work closely with our operations team to ensure that every loader, forklift, and specialized machine is ready for the rigors of the day.

Key Responsibilities

Expert Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair complex issues across diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical schematics.

Proactive Maintenance: Execute a rigorous preventative maintenance schedule to eliminate downtime before it happens.

Full-System Repairs: Lead major repairs on transmissions, brake systems, and fuel systems.

Safety Leadership: Maintain a clean, organized shop and ensure all equipment meets strict safety standards.

Resource Management: Track parts inventory and document all service records with precision.

What We Are Looking For

Proven Track Record: At least 3–5 years of experience specifically in heavy equipment or diesel mechanics.

Technical Proficiency: Strong background in hydraulics, electronics, and engine diagnostics.

Independence: The ability to work autonomously and make critical repair decisions under pressure.

Drive: A valid driver’s license is required (CDL is a significant advantage).

Tools: Possession of a comprehensive set of personal tools.
