Part Time Student Teaching Intern for EDUC-X156
The Student Academic Center offers a variety of courses designed to promote students' academic success at the university. All carry credit from the School of Education that can be applied as electives in most degree programs.
Job Summary
Teaching Interns for EDUC-X156 College and Life Long Learning are assistants in the "Academic Coaching" class at the Student Academic Center. Interns have weekly leadership responsibilities in the X156 class. This position will begin Fall 2026.
Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Leads small group discussions and team-building activities.
- Works as an academic coach for 6 of the students enrolled in X156.
- Helps their students think about the upcoming week, plan their academic responsibilities, identify areas to work, set weekly goals, offer accountability, and encourage their students as they strive for success.
