Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and curious Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Intern to join our team in Luling, TX. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to learn about environmental compliance, waste management, and safety practices within the aerospace industry. Key Learning Opportunities:

- Learn about EPA, OSHA, and state-specific environmental regulations.

- Gain an understanding of hazardous and non-hazardous waste classification.

Responsibilities:
- Shadow EHS professionals during their daily activities.
- Assist in organizing and filing environmental and safety documents.
- Help prepare materials for employee training sessions.
- Participate in facility walkthroughs to learn about environmental and safety practices.
- Contribute to the development of environmental awareness materials.
- Assist with data entry and basic analysis of environmental metrics.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in environmental science, Biology, Chemistry, EHS, Safety.
- Strong interest in environmental protection and workplace safety.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Enthusiasm for learning and applying new concepts.
