We contact thousands of business owners every month on behalf of our clients, and we're building the systems that make that scalable. Small team, moving fast, real work.
The Role
You'll be the human judgment layer in our AI-powered deal sourcing operation. Business owners respond to our M&A outreach campaigns every day — and it's your job to review those replies, categorize them correctly, and make sure the right ones get routed to the right place.
The AI handles volume. You handle accuracy. Nothing important gets missed because of you.
This is a daily ops role, not a project role. The same core workflow runs every day — check inboxes, categorize replies, review AI-drafted responses, flag anything that looks off. If you're someone who does repetitive work well and takes pride in running a clean process, this was built for you.
What You'll Do
Part 1 — Inbox Management (Primary)
- Review inbound replies from business owners across 10+ active M&A outreach campaigns daily
- Categorize each reply into the right bucket: interested, not interested, referral, wrong contact, out of office, or automated/junk
- Review AI-drafted reply suggestions and approve or correct before they send
- Flag anything that needs human judgment — unusual situations, angry replies, edge cases the AI got wrong
- Keep the inbox at zero by end of each session
Part 2 — Scheduling Support (Secondary)
- Monitor conversations that have moved to active scheduling (business owner said yes, now we're booking a call with the client)
- Work alongside our AI scheduling assistant to confirm meetings land correctly
- Catch and escalate stalled conversations or scheduling conflicts before they become problems
What We're Looking For
Must-have:
- Detail-oriented — you'll be catching AI errors before they reach a real business owner
- Consistent and reliable — this workflow runs every single day, no exceptions
- Comfortable reviewing and correcting AI-generated content
- Clear written communicator (fully remote, async-first)
- Available 10–15 hours/week on a predictable daily schedule
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with email outreach, cold email, CRM, or inbox management
- Background in finance, M&A, private equity, or business brokerage
- Sales, SDR, or appointment-setting experience
- Familiarity with deal sourcing or M&A concepts

Location
Fully remote. Must be available during US business hours with a consistent daily schedule. US Central timezone overlap preferred but not required.
