HR Operations Intern
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Human Resources, this internship offers a hands-on opportunity to support the HR Operations team across a variety of HR functions. You'll gain real-world experience in HR systems, project coordination, and day-to-day HR operations — all within a fast-paced corporate environment.
We're looking for a curious, detail-oriented student or recent graduate who is eager to learn, comfortable working independently, and excited to contribute to meaningful HR initiatives alongside experienced HR professionals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Technology & Software Support
Assist with research, evaluation, and documentation of software enhancements and system improvements.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for HR system updates, including documenting test cases, logging defects, and tracking resolution.
Help gather and organize business requirements for HR technology projects.
Project Coordination & Planning
Support the maintenance of project plans, timelines, and milestone trackers for HR system implementations and other HR initiatives.
Help organize project documentation, meeting notes, action items, and status reports.
Monitor project progress and proactively communicate updates or risks to project leads.
Communication & Documentation
Help develop/refine communication materials, user guides and training content.
Support the team in building clear, organized presentations.
General Day-to-Day HR Support
Assist with HR administrative tasks such as reporting, data entry, records maintenance, events, employee recognition programs, and wellness activities.
Review digital HR records to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

QUALIFICATIONS
Equivalent Education Level Required: Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, or related area strongly preferred.
Experience Required: Junior or Senior in college. Prior experience with HR systems, project coordination tools, or software testing is a plus.
Knowledge Required: The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly across all levels of the organization. Must be adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and basic software testing (UAT) is a plus.
Physical Requirements: Performs office-based physical tasks including sitting for long periods of time, typing, and computer use; occasionally pushes/pulls, twists, bends, and lifts up to 20 lbs. to support event setup and general operations. Reliable, insured transportation required. Must be able to fulfill all physical demands of the position on-site.
