Marketing & Events Intern (Part-Time, 20 Hours/Week)

Wachusett Mountain Ski Area is seeking a motivated, organized, and energetic Marketing & Events Intern to support the planning, promotion, and execution of seasonal events, community outreach, and guest experiences. This hands-on role offers experience in event coordination, vendor communication, digital marketing, and live event support in a fast-paced outdoor recreation environment.  This includes all summer/fall festivals and winter events.

Responsibilities include assisting with vendor outreach by phone and email, coordinating logistics, supporting event setup and breakdown, maintaining event materials and prize inventory, and providing on-site staffing for festivals, winter pop-ups, contests, and activity tables. The intern will also help create social media and email content, update event listings, develop promotional materials, capture photos and videos, and assist with post-event recaps and reporting.

Qualified candidates should have strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills; be reliable, flexible, and team-oriented; and be comfortable working indoors and outdoors. Interest in marketing, events, hospitality, recreation, or community engagement is preferred. Experience with social media, Canva, photography, or videography is a plus. Schedule averages 20 hours weekly and may include evenings, weekends, and early mornings.  Pay range is $18-$20 per hour. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate seeking portfolio-building experience, networking, and exposure to marketing strategy and analytics.
