Community Partnerships Manager

Community & Partnerships Manager / Social & Community Lead.

Core Objective

To act as the public face of Curate in the digital spaces where event professionals “hang out,” distributing customer-led content, infiltrating industry communities, and building high-ROI relationships with influencers and tech partners.

1. Social Media & "Customer Voice" Distribution

  • Own the Publishing Cadence: Execute the goal of posting 5 short clips/social posts per week across Meta, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • Repurpose Video Assets: Take the raw "teach me" clips, VocalVideo testimonials, and webinar recordings, and turn them into platform-native micro-content.
  • Write Conversion-Copy: Draft the social captions that accompany the clips, ensuring they highlight specific pain points (e.g., BEO errors, stem counting, food cost variance) and include a soft CTA.
  • Platform Engagement: Actively respond to comments, DMs, and mentions across all owned social channels to drive engagement rates up.

2. Community Infiltration (The "Dark Social" Play)

  • Reddit & Forums: Actively monitor and engage in subreddits like r/Catering, r/florists, and r/KitchenConfidential. Their job is to add genuine value and answer operational questions, subtly positioning Curate as the solution when relevant (without getting banned for spamming).
  • Private Facebook Groups: Infiltrate and participate in niche Facebook groups for event professionals and florists. Share the "mini-case stories" and blog posts where appropriate.
  • Trend Spotting: Act as the "boots on the ground," feeding the sales and marketing teams real-time objections, trends, and frustrations currently dominating community discussions.

3. Influencer & Partner Orchestration

  • Identify "Dream" Influencers: Scout high-revenue ($10M+) caterers, prominent floral designers, and event planners who have strong social followings to act as brand evangelists or guest webinar speakers.
  • Manage Co-Marketing Campaigns: Coordinate the logistics of joint IG Lives, podcast swaps, or shared lead-magnet blasts with complementary tech partners (e.g., staffing apps, wholesale flower suppliers).
  • Testimonial Generation: Work alongside the CS team to identify "super users" and run the "testimonial request" scripts to constantly feed the VocalVideo pipeline.
