Student Office Assistant
Student Worker to assist front office staff with answering phones and assisting with walk-in traffic. Job duties also include indexing and scanning documents, mailings, filing, poster creation and assisting office employees with special projects.
Qualifications:
- Must be a student at Northern Michigan University
- Availability between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. We will determine your work schedule based on your semester course schedule.
- Must be available to work 15 to 20 hours a week.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must be comfortable with computers.
- Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to follow instructions.
- Must be free of academic or social probation.
- Must be living in an on campus residence hall or apartment for the Fall 2026-Winter 2027 Academic year
Additional desired qualifications:
- Experience auditing
- Experience in working with Microsoft Office, Google suite or similar software.
- Able to work during the summer and holiday breaks.
- Work Study is preferred but not required.
Compensation: $13.73 per hour
