Sabai is a sustainable furniture company designing comfortable, beautiful pieces made with non-toxic, eco-friendly materials. We're on a mission to make sustainable living the default — not the exception. As we grow our trade and B2B channels (interior designers, hospitality, offices, and other commercial buyers), we're looking for a driven Sales Intern to help us expand our reach.
The Role
We're looking for a Sales & Partnerships Intern to support the growth of Sabai's trade and B2B sales program. This role is perfect for someone who's curious about sales, sustainability, and design, and who wants hands-on experience driving real revenue at a mission-driven brand. You'll be responsible for identifying potential trade and B2B customers, conducting outreach, and helping move prospects through the sales pipeline.
What You'll Do
- Research and build targeted prospect lists of interior designers, design firms, hospitality groups, co-working spaces, boutique hotels, and other potential B2B customers
- Conduct cold and warm outreach via email, LinkedIn, and other channels to introduce Sabai's trade program
- Follow up with inbound trade applications and nurture leads through the sales funnel
- Maintain and update the CRM with prospect information, outreach activity, and pipeline status
- Help craft outreach templates, sales collateral, and follow-up sequences
- Track outreach metrics (open rates, response rates, conversions) and report on performance
- Collaborate with the broader sales and marketing team on campaigns and initiatives
- Support the trade team with administrative tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program
- Strong written communication skills — you can write a clear, compelling email
- Self-starter who can manage their own time and work independently
- Comfortable with rejection and persistent in follow-up
- Interest in sustainability, design, furniture, or e-commerce a plus
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator a plus, but not required
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple prospects at once

Compensation & Logistics
- Base pay: $20/hour
- Performance bonus: Additional bonus paid out on closed trade and B2B deals, with structure to be discussed during the interview process. The more accounts you close, the more you earn.
