Kitchen Support


Job Description

The Kitchen Support role contributes to the overall daily kitchen operations. This role is a vital part of the kitchen team. They will play a key part in stewarding, stocking and organization to ensure efficiency.

 

Kitchen Support Requirements

Education: High School Diploma

Years of Related Experience: 1 year in professional food service operation

Licenses/Certifications: Must be able to obtain ServSafe certification within the first 90 days.

 

Kitchen Support Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

Works well in a fast-paced environment

Detail oriented

High energy, positive attitude

General knowledge of kitchen operations and equipment

 

Kitchen Support Duties:

Kitchen Operations Maintenance

Responsible for ware-washing, assist with kitchen production and meals. Ensures all wares are polished and stored to meet our high standards. 

Consolidation and rotation of prepared food items daily

Performs stewarding tasks such as receiving, stocking, and tracking inventory to meet established food safety standards

Roll silverware, fold napkins, bus tables

Ensures daily and weekly cleaning schedules are met

Monitor and report equipment maintenance issues

Food Prep

Assist Chefs with food prep tasks as assigned

Setup buffets, beverage service and snack stations, restocking and refreshing stations as needed
