Reports to: Editor-in-Chief

Description: Responsible for creating graphics that pair with stories from all sections, and designing ads and promotional materials.

Duties and responsibilities:
 

• Work with desk editors to develop graphics and visual elements for stories 
• Meet assigned deadlines and attend all assigned meetings and training
• Work with the Editor-in-Chief to maintain a consistent look and quality to the newspaper's sections
• Be receptive to appropriate feedback regarding work for the newspaper as well as other duties as assigned
• Write a staff column in the regular rotation
• Contribute suggestions for improving individual sections and The North Wind’s products

This position is 20 hours/week and paid $13.73/hour.
