Event Research & Coverage Intern (Hybrid South FL)

Description:
Untapped Media Group is seeking a highly motivated Event Research & Coverage Intern to identify impactful events aligned with our multicultural media platform. This role is ideal for someone passionate about culture, community, and staying ahead of what’s happening in the entertainment and business space in South Florida (Dade, Broward, Palm Beach counties).

You will play a key role in helping our team decide where to show up, create content, and expand our brand presence.

Responsibilities:

Research and identify upcoming events (festivals, networking events, brand activations, panels, pop-ups)
Prioritize multicultural and culturally relevant experiences
Build and maintain a weekly event calendar
Identify high-value events for media coverage opportunities
Track event details (date, location, audience, contact info)
Assist in coordinating coverage opportunities with the team

Qualifications:

Strong research and organizational skills
Passion for events, culture, and community engagement
Active on social media (Instagram, TikTok, Eventbrite, etc.)
Detail-oriented and proactive
Strong communication skills
