Job Description
Summary
This is an entry- to mid-level full time position responsible for warhead lethality analysis, test, and evaluation.
Description
Provide technical expertise performing analysis for predicting the effects of shaped charges, fragmentation devices, insensitive munitions, and penetrating warheads. Additionally, test and evaluation duties including writing test plans, executing test programs, and authoring test reports upon completion. The Lethality Engineer works closely with Customer representatives to develop technologies that enhance the capabilities of the Warfighter.
Education & Other Qualification Requirements
- ABET accredited BS in computer science or engineering
- Ability to write numerical analysis programs in C++ and Python
- Experience with operating systems for scientific computing
- Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills
- Have or ability to obtain a Secret level clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Lethality Codes
- Experience with warhead tests and requirements
- Possess current Secret level clearance
