Claim Advocate
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Claim Advocate to support claim operations through task management, communication, and organizational support. This role is ideal for students or early-career professionals interested in operations, insurance, customer service, or administrative coordination.
You’ll play a key role in keeping claims moving forward by managing tasks, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring everything stays organized and on track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, update, and manage daily claim-related tasks
- Prioritize assignments based on urgency and workflow needs
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, documenting interactions and routing inquiries
- Follow up with vendors, contractors, and internal team members on outstanding items
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in internal systems
- Communicate task updates, concerns, and escalations clearly
- Assist with administrative and operational tasks as needed
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Contribute ideas to improve processes and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service with professionalism and empathy
Qualifications:
- Basic to intermediate computer skills (email, data entry, spreadsheets)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-service mindset with a professional and empathetic approach
Preferred (Nice to Have):
- Experience in a call center, customer service, claims, or administrative role
