Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist

ACE Wellness Center - Mansfield is seeking a Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist (QBHS) to join our team. ACE Wellness Center’s Behavioral Health Program provides individualized, holistic care planning and support to youth, families, and adults in their schools, homes, and communities.

The QBHS provides community-based after school services that support clients in making progress toward their treatment goals.

The QBHS coordinates and provides care, reinforcement, encouragement, and support that is safe, timely, effective, efficient, and client-centered. In collaboration with a licensed clinician, the QBHS assists in providing Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) and Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Services include, but are not limited to:
• Interacting with clients and their families to monitor progress and ensure satisfaction with services
• Recording and maintaining accurate case information
• Completing all required documentation and forms in accordance with agency standards
• Assessing and addressing motivational and psychosocial challenges
• Facilitating care coordination and communication among members of the treatment team
• Assisting in the development of service plans and case closures
• The QBHS provides services at times and locations where they are most effective. As a result, the ideal candidate should maintain a flexible schedule, which may include occasional evening or weekend availability.

Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, sound judgment, flexibility, commitment, and internal motivation are important for success in this role.
