Leadership Development Office Internship [Vacancy ID: 212161]

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Intern to provide essential support for our leadership development initiatives. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about contributing to the growth and success of our leaders. The Intern will play a key role in assisting in developing impactful materials and contributing to various development programs.
 

Key Responsibilities: 

Presentation Development: Assist with creating engaging and professional PowerPoint presentations, Leadership Development Support: Conduct research to identify relevant resources, best practices, and innovative approaches for leadership development. Project Coordination: Assist in the planning and organization of leadership development events and programs. Content Curation: Gather, organize, and synthesize information from various sources to support the development of training content and resources. Provide general administrative support to the leadership development team

Minimum Qualifications:
• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be actively enrolled in a New York State college, university, or graduate program, or be a resident of New York State, attending a college, university or graduate program outside of New York State*
• Have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university (completion of one year's worth of academic credits over a longer period may qualify part-time students for participation in the program), or be a currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program
• Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0, or the letter grade equivalent

Preferred Skill Sets:
• Experience in creating PowerPoint presentations and materials.
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• A proactive and self-starting attitude with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• A high degree of creativity and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• A motivated and results-oriented mindset.
