Full-Time Faculty, Human Services Program

Job Description

Passaic County Community College is seeking a qualified and experienced full-time faculty to teach courses in Human Services.

Examples of Duties

  • Teach introductory and upper-level undergraduate courses in Human Services. 
  • Employ a variety of instructional delivery methods, such as online, hybrid, Zoom, and in-person. 
  • Integrate instructional technology to heighten student engagement. 
  • Employ evidence-based interventions and use assessment for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Master's of Social Work required.
  • Five (5) years of higher education experience required. 
  • Ability to work with a diverse population and manage high student volume. 
  • Strong oral/written communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.

Compensation: The salary for this position is $59,000.

                          Sick: 50 hours*

                          Personal: 13 hours*
