About the Role

  • 20 hrs/week
  • Unpaid, 6 month program
  • Fully remote
  • HR team
  • OPT/CPT eligible
  • Commit to weekly 90-minute Company meetings (PST): Monday & Friday @10am Company Meetings
  • Commit to weekly 60-minute meetings (PST): Monday @2:00pm HR Team Stand-up & Tuesday @8:00am Project Sync
  • Commit to weekly 30-minute 1:1 coaching/week

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives and culture-building programs.
  • Support the planning and execution of virtual team-building activities and company-wide events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment.
  • Help design and distribute employee surveys to gather feedback on engagement and workplace culture.
  • Analyze survey results and provide insights and recommendations to improve employee experience.
  • Contribute to initiatives that enhance employee recognition, communication, and morale.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining culture-related resources, guides, and internal communications.
  • Support additional HR projects as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for employee experience and workplace culture.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable communicating professionally via email, chat, and video calls in a remote environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Coachable, proactive, and open to feedback with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Interest in employee engagement, organizational culture, and HR strategy.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with employee engagement concepts such as organizational culture, employee experience, and psychological safety.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Google Workspace.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Creative thinking with an interest in developing innovative engagement initiatives and programs.
  • Experience working in team-based or collaborative environments.
