About the Role
- 25 hrs/week
- Unpaid, 6 month program
- Fully remote

- Commit to weekly 90-minute Company meetings (PST): Monday & Friday @10am Company Meetings
- Commit to weekly 60-minute meetings (PST): Monday @2:00pm HR Team Stand-up & Tuesday @8:00am Recruiting Sync
- Commit to leading weekly 30-minute 1:1 coaching/week
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting across multiple functions (HR, Operations, Marketing, Business, IT, etc.)
- Partner with leadership to understand hiring needs and translate them into effective recruiting strategies
- Manage and optimize the end-to-end candidate experience (sourcing → screening → interviewing → offer → onboarding)
- Conduct structured interviews and evaluate candidates using competency-based frameworks
- Develop and refine job descriptions, interview guides, and selection criteria
- Mentor and support junior recruiters; provide guidance on best practices and process improvements
- Leverage data and recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, conversion rates, pipeline health) to drive decision-making
- Identify bottlenecks in the hiring process and implement scalable solutions
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through proactive sourcing (LinkedIn, partnerships, referrals, etc.)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership and hiring managers to align on talent strategy
- Support onboarding coordination and ensure smooth candidate transitions into the organization
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives and recruiting outreach strategies
Qualifications
- Completed or in a bachelor’s degree program in Human Resources, Psychology, IO Psychology, Business, or related field (or currently pursuing Master’s)
- Proven experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR (internship or professional experience)
- Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting and selection best practices
- Experience conducting interviews and assessing candidates effectively
- Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze recruiting metrics
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a remote team
- High integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive candidate information
Preferred Skills
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Familiarity with structured interviewing and selection methods
- Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn and other platforms
- Ability to improve and scale recruiting processes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience mentoring or leading other recruiters is a plus
