Wage: $15.50 per hour

Full-time seasonal daytime hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm

Start & end dates are negotiable within April to September season

Seasonal full-time employment is limited to a 5-month duration

Job summary:

Position assists with increased seasonal workload related to spring yard waste, carts and move out. Transports yard waste and leaves to Landfill’s compost facility and dumps load. Cleans and maintains equipment. Drives City trucks on daily assignments. Performs other related duties as required. 

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Six months of experience in general labor required. Valid Iowa Class B commercial driver's license with airbrakes endorsement with satisfactory driving record required at time of hire. Must maintain a valid CDL as a condition for continued employment. This position is subject to federal drug testing requirements including screening through the FMCSA Clearinghouse. A pre-employment drug screen is required. Must be 18 years of age.
