Startup Growth & AI Operations Intern – AI Neurology Platform

NeuroPred, Inc. is a fast-moving AI-powered neurology startup based in Coralville, Iowa. We are building a Software-as-a-Medical-Device platform that transforms standard post-stroke MRI scans into personalized, predictive clinical intelligence to improve patient outcomes and help hospitals optimize care and reimbursement. We are currently in the seed fundraising stage, advancing toward FDA 510(k) clearance, and actively scaling our technology.
This is a real startup internship — not a highly scripted program. You will get meaningful responsibility and hands-on ownership of projects that directly impact the company, while also having the flexibility to shape part of your experience around your own interests and goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Business operations and growth support: market research, investor and partner outreach, pitch deck and business plan updates, documentation, financial analysis, revenue/growth projections, accounting/payroll exposure, and report creation
- Brand presence and marketing: create social media content, schedule posts, grow engagement, develop website news/articles, stakeholder updates, and marketing materials
Professional Development & Flexibility A startup environment naturally involves a wide variety of tasks and opportunities. We will do our best to support you in developing the specific skills you are most interested in. You will have dedicated time to pursue projects that excite you, such as:
- Participating in product development discussions
- Joining investor or potential client calls
- Leading additional marketing or growth initiatives
- Exploring clinical or technical aspects of the platform
- Financial analysis, revenue modeling, accounting processes, or other areas of interest

This training will be overseen and facilitated by our team members who hold a PhD and Master’s degrees in AI and software engineering. What We’re Looking For
- Current University of Iowa undergraduate or graduate student
- Curiosity, high initiative, energy, and a genuine interest in entrepreneurship
- Strong interest in business writing and communication (in addition to general writing skills)
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
- Graduate students with prior experience are especially encouraged, but we thoroughly review strong undergraduate candidates as well — quick learners with drive are very welcome
Commitment
- 30–40 hours per week for 10 weeks (June 1 – August 7, 2026)
- Hybrid schedule (work from home + in-office at our Coralville Research Park location)
- Minimum compensation of $17/hour for undergraduates and $22/hour for graduates (actual rate may be higher depending on experience)
