About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Python AI/ML Developer to join our talent network. This role will be placed with one of our top-tier vendor or implementation partner clients. You will work on cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning projects, building scalable models and intelligent systems that drive real business impact. What You'll Do
- Design, develop and deploy end-to-end machine learning and deep learning models for production environments
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for training, validation and inference
- Develop NLP, computer vision and generative AI solutions using state-of-the-art frameworks
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI solutions
- Optimize model performance, accuracy and computational efficiency at scale
- Implement MLOps practices — model versioning, monitoring, retraining pipelines and deployment automation
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior team members and contribute to architectural decisions
- Research and integrate emerging AI/ML technologies and frameworks into existing systems
- Create comprehensive technical documentation for models, pipelines and AI systems
Required Qualifications
- 9+ years of hands-on Python development
- Strong expertise in ML frameworks — TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn
- Experience with NLP, LLMs and generative AI (GPT, LangChain, Hugging Face)
- Proficiency in data processing — Pandas, NumPy, Spark
- Experience with cloud ML platforms — AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI
- MLOps tools — MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Valid US work authorization required
Nice to Have
- Experience with RAG architecture and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB)
- Knowledge of computer vision — OpenCV, YOLO, CNNs
- Contributions to open source AI/ML projects
- AWS / Azure / GCP certifications
- Experience in Agile and Scrum environments
- Prior experience in vendor or consulting engagements
