Executive Recruiter
Ascendo Resources, a certified CMBE, is expanding our Professional Services practice and seeking a full-desk Recruiter with a strong new business development mindset. This role is ideal for a revenue-driven professional who thrives on opening new accounts, building market presence, and converting relationships into long-term partnerships—while also delivering high-quality talent solutions across office-based functions.
This position plays a critical role in driving new client acquisition, expanding existing accounts, and recruiting top-tier Professional Services talent across a wide range of industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development through proactive outreach, market mapping, and relationship building with Professional Services decision-makers
- Generate revenue by opening new accounts and expanding existing client relationships
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client hiring needs and delivering customized staffing solutions
- Recruit and place candidates across a broad range of Professional Services roles, including but not limited to: Accounting & Finance (Staff Accountants, AP/AR, Financial Analysts) - Human Resources (HR Coordinators, HR Generalists, Talent Support) - Administrative & Clerical (Administrative Assistants, Executive Assistants, Office Managers, Data Entry, Customer Service, and other office-based support functions)
- Partner with clients across industries such as corporate offices, professional firms, shared services centers, and growing middle-market organizations
- Manage the full desk lifecycle: business development, client management, recruiting, and placement
Requirements
- Proven new business development experience, preferably in staffing, professional services sales, or a consultative B2B environment
- Entrepreneurial, hunter-oriented mindset with a strong drive for revenue generation
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage a full sales cycle—from prospecting to close—while supporting recruiting efforts
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience (staffing or B2B sales strongly preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
