Digital Development Intern
Coptic Solidarity seeks interested candidates to apply for the summer internship program. We seek to mentor and train individuals who will become leaders of the next generation in Coptic advocacy. We believe it is important to incorporate the innovation and ideas of the next generation in our efforts.
We will work with Universities to ensure students desiring course credit can attain it. Coptic Solidarity will also provide reference letters to interns who have performed their duties to a satisfactory level.
We are now accepting applicants for the Digital Development Intern position for Summer 2026. This is an opportunity for students and recent graduates to engage in career development and a chance to learn new skills as they contribute to CS’s mission.
This remote internship lasts about 12-15 weeks, starting on May 18, 2026. Interns are expected to commit 15-20 hours per week and work directly with CS staff and board members. Selected applicants will work as a team to execute a substantive capstone project that tackles a timely policy and even share it with federal and international policymakers!

Position Description
Digital Development Intern
Responsibilities
- Collect, filter, and clean data to disclose trends of discrimination and violence against Copts in Coptic Solidarity’s database, CoptWatch.
- Assist with the development, updating, and maintenance of the official website and its content, ensuring it is accurate, user-friendly, and visually appealing.
- Support with the organization’s technical and data-oriented tasks.
- Assist with other miscellaneous and operational tasks.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate, graduate, or recently graduated student with coursework in computer science, web development, data science, or a related field, and demonstrated interest in policy, international relations, or MENA affairs.
- Strong knowledge of web development, web design, and scripting languages such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and WordPress.
- Familiarity with quantitative policy and database management,
- Excellent oral and written cross-cultural communication skills; proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred.
- Ability to synthesize the Organization’s quantitative findings into accessible advocacy materials.
