Seasonal Recreation Center Aide

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: 

Performs the duties involved in the daily supervision of summer youth programs within a regional or neighborhood community recreation center. 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Attends meetings and workshops as needed. 
• Provide and maintain a safe working environment.   
• Enforce all community center rules. 
• Carry out all written and verbal instructions and other related duties as requested. 
• Follow rules, policies and procedures for staff members. 
• Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure the cleanliness of the facility. 
• Supervise youth in specific program areas of the facility and provide activities such as: sports, games, play, art, recreation.
