Design Engineer II

JOB ORDER

Sabre Tubular Structures seeks Design Engineer II for multiple positions in Alvarado, TX responsible for effective and efficient design of transmission pole structures. Will perform complex structural analysis and design to develop higher engineering knowledge and abilities. Will interpret customer specifications; develop design proposal of structures; process orders related design procedures and computer software; support CAD drawing preparation and collaborate with manufacturing on processes and procurement. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; 2 years experience in steel structural design and analysis; demonstrated ability with mentoring and training junior engineers and drafters in steel structure design and analysis; ability to perform structural design; ability to communicate across departments; and Engineer-in-Training Certification.
