Events Intern
We’re searching for someone who’s excited to dive into the world of luxury mountain events. The ideal candidate brings enthusiasm, curiosity, and a can‑do spirit, paired with the poise and polish needed to support high‑end experiences on the iconic Vail & Beaver Creek Mountains.
As our Events Intern, you’ll support the Director of Events and Event Managers in creating unforgettable experiences for wedding parties and elevated corporate retreats who expect nothing less than seamless excellence. You’ll help us nurture relationships with returning clients and build meaningful connections throughout the Vail Valley community.
You’ll be immersed in the behind‑the‑scenes magic that makes luxury events feel effortless. From collaborating with our Food & Beverage teams to assisting with on-site coordination during event days, you’ll assist in ensuring that each function unfolds beautifully.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on‑site support to Service Managers during event execution
- Assist with ongoing updates to venue resources, guides, and reference materials to support the events team.
- Represent the events team in meetings when needed, ensuring information is captured and communicated back to the team.
- Serve as administrative support for the Vail, Beaver Creek, and Crested Butte events teams, including preparing weekly departmental communications
- Maintain and update event systems to ensure menus and offerings are accurate, including verifying ingredients and allergen information
- Print and organize all departmental buffet and menu labels with accuracy and timeliness
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed or complex correspondence
- Confident verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to guests, colleagues, and leadership
- Flexible schedule; while typical hours follow standard business times, frequent evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required. Summer Fridays and Saturdays are especially busy.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Familiarity with Social Tables, Canva, and Delphi (Salesforce)
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality, hotels, or Food & Beverage
- Strong multitasking abilities and comfort working under pressure
- Professional demeanor and a passion for delivering elevated guest experiences
