These part-time roles offer flexibility, collaboration, and the chance to practice in a mission‑driven environment. Whiting Forensic Hospital (WFH), under the umbrella of the State of Connecticut, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) is seeking On Call Physicians (PCNs 153654, 153655, 153656) to fulfill on-call needs within our hospital in Middletown.
 

Flexible on-call options:

  • Weekday: 16‑hour shift (4:30 PM – 8:30 AM)
  • Weekend: 24‑hour shift (8:30 AM – 8:30 AM)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - GENERAL EXPERIENCE

Completion of one (1) year of a residency program.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Incumbents must possess and maintain eligibility for participation in federal health care programs as defined in 42 U.S. 1320a-7b(f).
