Worship Pianist

We need a pianist to play for worship at 9:00 am on Sunday mornings.  You would need to be there around 8:30-8:40 to rehearse with any special music for the day, either soloists or choir, and play a prelude for 5 minutes before worship begins at 9:00 am.  During worship you would play the hymns or songs for the congregation to sing, and during prayer and the offering, and then briefly at the end of the service.  We would pay $75-100 per week, varying with the need to accompany the choir or soloists.   Please call the office at 815-562-2164 or the pastor at 815-575-9648 to learn more or express interest.  Rochelle United Methodist Church is located in Rochelle at the corner of Seventh Street and Fourth Ave. We are a welcoming, open and affirming, congregation.
