Manufacturing Data Systems Intern
Kyocera has a temporary internship position for a Manufacturing Data Systems Intern at our San Diego, CA facility. Candidates selected for hire will be hired through one of Kyocera’s approved staffing partners.
Pay is $25 per hour

We are seeking a Manufacturing Data Systems Intern to support the automation of line input/output scan systems. The intern will participate in hardware evaluation, data collection development, and user interface creation to improve data visibility and manufacturing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the implementation of automated input/output scan systems across assembly lines.
- Support hardware evaluation, data collection logic, and UI development using Python.
- Analyze collected data to validate successful system implementation.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations for engineering teams.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Junior or Senior student is preferred for this internship program.
- Strong skills in data analysis, automation concepts, and system workflow understanding - Python experience required.
- Ability to analyze technical processes and assist in software/system integration.
- Experience with data collection tools or UI design is a plus.
